‘Inspirational Quote’ -Deanna Rizzo
A Day in the Life of an Uninsured Pittsburgher by Deanna Rizzo
Google review of UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital by Deanna Rizzo
Hello dears. My health has been quite awful as of late. I’ll be up and ruining again soon. I just wanted to share this review of an atrocity that occurred yesterday. I’ll be publishing an article in the next few days, but for now, I’m trying to figure out what to do now.
• We all Matter • Little Bit of Inspiration!
Food for thought? By Deanna Rizzo
• Aphrodisiac • A Poem by Deanna Rizzo
• Ablaze • Rhyme Time
My mind is ablaze with
thoughts of the past,
but I’ll extinguish them
with the force of brick
I don’t usually do rhyming poetry, I totally suck at it, lol! This piece just came out that way, happy accidents!
• Stand Out • Empower Yourself… Let yourself shine!
Once you realize and
embrace your own true
beauty, you won’t be
standing alone, you will
be standing out.
• Darkness • Just some Thoughts by Deanna Rizzo
Darkness will feed, it will
suppress and taunt, leaving us
weak, but it’s favorite malice
is to deceive, and make us
defenseless to it’s whims.
I’ve begun to embrace my
darkness and I think that
really pisses it off.
If I coddle the darkness, the
fear of it won’t consume me,
only make me grateful for it,
grateful that it allows me to
appreciate the light inside me.
Darkness is in all of us. Accept
that, and what’s to be afraid
Street Art – “Invisible to those who choose not to look!”
I took this photo this past summer while shopping a farmer’s market here in the Burgh. I love when life has hidden little treasures to be seen by those who choose to look, and can bring an unexpected smile. Enjoy looking and touching and seeing all that is around you, there are hidden beauties everywhere.
