Hello dears. My health has been quite awful as of late. I’ll be up and ruining again soon. I just wanted to share this review of an atrocity that occurred yesterday. I’ll be publishing an article in the next few days, but for now, I’m trying to figure out what to do now.

• Deep• A piece by Deanna Rizzo
Your words cut so deep,
nothing inside me seems
to move anymore.

• Empty • A piece by Deanna Rizzo
You took away all of the chaos
and left nothing to replace it,
now I just feel empty.

• Ablaze • Rhyme Time
My mind is ablaze with
thoughts of the past,
but I’ll extinguish them
with the force of brick
against glass.

I don’t usually do rhyming poetry, I totally suck at it, lol! This piece just came out that way, happy accidents!
• Colors • My Current Feelings

My heart colors itself
with darkness at the
memory of your smile.
God, I fucking miss you.

For my Mother
This is my favorite picture of her.
• Darkness • Just some Thoughts by Deanna Rizzo
Darkness will feed, it will
suppress and taunt, leaving us
weak, but it’s favorite malice
is to deceive, and make us
defenseless to it’s whims.
I’ve begun to embrace my
darkness and I think that
really pisses it off.
If I coddle the darkness, the
fear of it won’t consume me,
only make me grateful for it,
grateful that it allows me to
appreciate the light inside me.
Darkness is in all of us. Accept
that, and what’s to be afraid
of anymore.
